Sorry – we mean “made redundant”. Anyway – we are retaliating by making sure our asses get totally chiselled now.
A group of us who got let go by our advertising agency started a 7km walk in the Phoenix Park club. A good way to stay positive, get some fresh air and mainly, make sure nobody hangs around in their pyjamas all day. Most of the founding fathers have found jobs again, but the club lives on.
If you’ve been made redundant, here’s the deal: turn up at 11am sharp @ the park gates (MONDAY TO FRIDAY), spot your likely co-redundees and head for a big old butt-chiselling session up to the far gates and back. What if no one else is there? Go for a walk anyway, and get your lazy sacked friends to join next time.
